Our services.

Why make every job a sustainability job?

Because ambitious long-term impact goals are nothing more than empty promises if they’re not accompanied by practical, meaningful action.

Because when employees feel their day-to-day work is in line with their values, they’re more motivated to contribute to their company’s success.

Because no ESG team can change the world on its own, and because everyone, in every role, has the power to create positive change.

Today Do This facilitates action and lasting change by getting everyone—finance and marketing, HR and procurement, board room and factory floor, manager and trainee—to play their part in delivering your company’s specific sustainability objectives.

What do we do?

We enable employees to connect the skills and responsibilities of their day job with the social and environmental issues the company needs to address. How do we do it?

  • Through hands-on workshops and ongoing support, we enable employees to weave your company’s impact commitments into their daily work decisions and responsibilities.

We’ll get them to unite behind your sustainability strategy, empower them to come up with ideas for how they can best contribute, and make it easy for them to turn ideas into practical action. And we'll help you manage those ideas to make sure they're relevant, focussed and deliverable.

Far beyond recycling more or bringing a reusable cup to work, we’ll help them generate meaningful, impactful, business-relevant ideas that build ESG capacity and make a real difference. Some examples that have helped scale sustainability at a variety of our clients include:

    • A finance manager making the business case for a net-zero climate target
    • A procurement director prioritising local and minority-owned businesses
    • A product marketer creating a ‘repair and resell’ programme for customers
    • A customer service rep trying out more inclusive communication methods
    • A factory worker improving recycling infrastructure for major waste streams

Depending on your company's impact priorities and corporate culture, these sessions are perfect for tackling Scope 3 emissions, galvanising a group of ESG or DEI champions, running an effective Sustainability Week, gaining practical support from management, or scaling participation across the entire business.

  • If you’re still working out your sustainability strategy, we can help.

We make sure the strategy is grounded in business realities by involving a cross-section of workers from across the company in its development.

Whether through small meetings or big workshops, we’ll gather input from workers with different perspectives and experience but with a shared interest in improving the company’s impact.

    This will help you:

    • Hone priorities, objectives and targets
    • Identify challenges and competing incentives
    • Build understanding, support and excitement for the strategy
    • Improve the collaboration and coordination so vital to achieving impact goals

  • If you’re just getting started, we’d encourage you to hear from employees as soon as possible.

All too often, ESG initiatives fizzle and fail because employees’ views weren’t taken into account early on. Plus, there’s a lot you can learn from them.

Through surveys and interviews, we find out things like:

    • Which social and environmental issues employees think the company needs to address
    • What concerns different departments are hearing from customers, investors and staff
    • What employees think the company is doing well already
